Outcome Measures for Lipedema and Lymphedema with Molly Sleigh, OTD, OTR/L, CLT-LANA

Published: 19 April, 2022

Outcome measures can be grouped into four categories: self-report, performance-based, observer-reported, and clinician-reported.

There is increasing awareness of the need for disease-related patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs). PROMs are measures of patients’ health-related quality of life (HRQOL).

Lymphedema– and lipedema-specific PROMs ensure patient-centered evaluation and play a vital role when coupled with other lymphedema measurements.
