This presentation is divided into three breast cancer transitional phases of care. The first phase, commonly called “PreHab,” includes exercises combined with postural considerations after surgery. The second phase, “Post-op,” focuses on exercises with and without drains. The final transition is “Post-discharge” exercise recommendations.
Video will be used throughout the presentation for attendees to observe these important phases. The use of intermittent pneumatic compression will also be covered as an important tool to help breast cancer patients.
