“I’m not a victim. I’m not a ‘sit still’ girl. And I’m not going to let this define me.”
Jessica Wilson is a lipolymphedema patient who says she never liked her body, even when she was 136 pounds. Why? In this captivating interview, she shares a photo of her at her skinniest, with “cankles.”
After a triggering accident at work, Jessica’s weight ballooned by 70 pounds. Recovering physically from the accident was compounded by the mental toll of the fluid weight gain. “I said to my doctor, ‘Is it too much beer? Or do I need to go on a severe diet?’”
They replied, “If it was your diet, you wouldn’t have skinny feet.” What a relief to finally get a diagnosis for something she’d wondered about all her life.
At her therapist’s clinic, she tried the Lympha Press and had dramatic results almost immediately. Jessica cautions against just asking for a pump: “I was prescribed another brand that just didn’t work. So I finally said to my doctor, ‘I want a Lympha Press.'”
Now that she has her own Lympha Press Optimal Plus, she travels with it and inspires others with her posts as @TheGirlWithTheSkinnyFeet on Instagram.
“I do whatever it takes to move my lymph, every way, every day.”
