Glen Mills, PA – It’s the time of year when bills mount and stress levels can be higher than ever. For families dealing with cancer, their challenges are multiplied. Thanks to a local charity called Bringing Hope Home, the fortunate families this organization benefits won’t have to worry about how all the bills are going to get paid this holiday season.
“Bringing Hope Home was incorporated in 2008 with the sole mission of providing unexpected amazingness to families with cancer through financial and emotional support,” remarked Joseph Carberry, Executive Team Leader. “When our Executive Team learned of the work being done by this organization, we were inspired to adopt a family and make a corporate donation to this worthy cause.”
It didn’t stop there. When announced at the Company’s annual holiday party, the desire to help spread to not only the employees based at the corporate office in Glen Mills, PA but also to those based around the country. “We’re excited to see how much more we can raise to make a difference, and we plan to match what our employees contribute, hopefully covering up to two more families with this program.
Since Bringing Hope Home was formed, the organization has supported over 3,500 local families with over $4.3 million dollars in assistance. “They truly live up to their signature line, which is ‘bringing home amazingness’ to families facing a cancer diagnosis,” added Steve Kantor, MSS Founder. “We honored to help spread some more amazingness and contribute to making the holiday season brighter for a family in need.”
