Glen Mills, PA – Medical Solutions Supplier will commemorate National Nurses Week, May 6th – 12th with a “Lympha Press Loves Nurses” campaign to honor the many nurses with whom the Company works.
“We are grateful for these amazing healthcare professionals all year long, but National Nurses Week is a special opportunity to express thanks for their incredible contributions to the health and wellbeing of patients,” remarked Joe Carberry, Executive Team Leader. “Simply put, they are irreplaceable partners in our mission of ‘improving quality of life’.”
Members of the Medical Solutions Supplier Private and Government Sector Sales Teams will add personal notes of gratitude to postcards that say: “Dedicated, professional, caring – these are just of few of the adjectives that describe nurses. That’s why we’re delighted to honor you during National Nurses Week, May 6th – 12th. At Medical Solutions Supplier, we consider it a privilege to partner with you to improve quality of life for your patients – all year long.”
Accompanying the cards will be hand lotion bottles labeled “Lympha Press Loves Nurses” which complements the 2016 theme for National Nurses Week: #SafeNursesRock. “The nurses I’ve worked with were constantly using hand sanitizer, which is important for safety, but can be drying to hands,” added Ed Davis, Private Sector Sales Team Leader. “We thought the moisturizers would be a nice, practical gesture to acknowledge the measures they take each to promote safety.”
National Nurses Week begins each year on May 6 and ends on May 12, Florence Nightingale’s birthday. The nursing profession has been supported and promoted by the American Nurses Association (ANA) since 1896. Each of ANA’s state and territorial nurses associations promotes the nursing profession at the state and regional levels. Each conducts celebrations on these dates to recognize the contributions that nurses and nursing make to the community.
The ANA supports and encourages National Nurses Week recognition programs through the state and district nurses associations, other specialty nursing organizations, educational facilities, and independent health care companies and institutions.
