Breath Work and Mindfulness: Adding to Your Self-Care Toolbox – Kathleen Lisson

We know that diaphragmatic breathing can lower stress levels and meditation can decrease the negative impact of chronic stress on the body and mind. However, it can be challenging to find time to fit these practices into a busy schedule. Take a self-care break and experience some simple ways to add mind-body techniques to your toolbox as well as to your (or your patient’s) pumping routine.

About our Speaker

Kathleen Lisson holds a Bachelors of Applied Science degree in Massage Therapy, is board certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork and is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. She is also an ACE certified health coach and MMI certified meditation teacher. She has spoken at the American Venous and Lymphatic Society (AVLS), Fat Disorders Resource Society (FDRS), MLD UK, and National Lymphedema Network (NLN) conferences. She is the author of Swollen, Bloated and Puffy and Plastic Surgery Recovery Handbook.
